The German music magazine Concerti has praised Irena Josifoska's debut album, Cogitationes, for its delicate and nuanced interpretation of works by Dall’Abaco, Britten, and Hartig. The album showcases the young Serbian cellist's versatility, particularly in her interpretation of Tibor Hartig's Cogitatio I & II, where Josifoska's approach to subtle, melancholic moments is described as both cautious and refined. The review also notes her skillful, baroque-inspired playing of Dall’Abaco's Capricci and the precise dynamics in Britten's Suite op. 87. With this impressive debut, Josifoska demonstrates a deep sensitivity to the emotional and dynamic nuances of her repertoire.
