About KROKODIL STUDIO
Krokodil Studio is a music label, studio and radio production based in Pančevo, Serbia.
Studio Krokodil, located in Pančevo, Serbia, began its journey as an atelier for the band Ljubičice, but quickly expanded its horizons by offering its recording services to a wide range of local artists. Founded in 2012 by Vuk Stevanović and Milan Bjelica, the studio soon joined forces with the Belgrade-based Akademija studio, founded by Slobodan Orlić, creating the powerhouse that is Studio Krokodil today.
From its inception, Studio Krokodil became renowned for its deep passion for music and its dedication to analog equipment, including tubes and tapes. This distinctive approach set them apart as true musical fanatics, dedicated to capturing the warmth and authenticity of sound that only analog gear can provide. Initially working primarily as phonogram producers, the studio began to gain recognition for its exceptional production quality and attention to detail.
In 2018, Studio Krokodil registered as a label and publisher, marking a new chapter in its evolution. While still focused on their own productions, the studio became home to numerous regional and international releases, with Petar Stevanović serving as the driving force behind many successful recordings. Milan Bjelica also grew into one of the leading producers in the region, focusing on mainstream genres, and solidifying the studio’s reputation as a key player in the music scene.
Studio Krokodil has become a one-stop shop for musicians, offering a complete range of services under one roof, including production, distribution, booking, and marketing. This comprehensive approach has allowed them to provide artists with everything they need to succeed in the music industry, from recording to promotion.
In addition to music production, Studio Krokodil has also made its mark in the world of radio. The studio has been an integral part of several local podcasts and radio shows, helping to shape and produce content that resonates with the regional audience. Its radio production work has contributed to the growth and development of the local podcast scene, further solidifying Studio Krokodil's role as a versatile creative hub.
As of 2022, Studio Krokodil has increasingly turned its focus to classical music, launching the Krokodil Classics series, filling a significant gap in the regional music scene. This ongoing project highlights the studio’s versatility and commitment to supporting all genres of music, from indie and rock to the fine art of classical music.
Today, Studio Krokodil is a respected force in the music industry, known for its unique sound, dedication to analog craftsmanship, and its role in shaping the future of music in the region.

But we also help songwriters and composers get their music into the right hands, handle licensing, royalties, and ensure your music is protected. We also work on synchronizing music for TV, films, and commercials.
-
Yes, we usually work with artists through a publishing agreement that outlines how your music will be managed and how royalties are split.
-
Publishing deals with the rights to your songs, while a record label is focused on the recording, distribution, and promotion of your music. A publisher handles your intellectual property, while a label handles the product itself.
